The Unique fan girl, you’ve been missing in your life.

Warm, perceptive, and deeply attuned, I’m known for holding people with both tenderness and truth — and for helping them access the parts of themselves they can’t reach through insight alone.

I’m Han Marko — a Human Connection Consultant, intimacy educator, facilitator, and someone who has built my life around one central question:

What actually helps people feel more connected — to themselves, to their bodies, and to the people they love?

For years, I’ve been immersed in the worlds of touch, intimacy, embodiment, nervous system work, and relational healing. I’ve worked with individuals and couples navigating everything from shutdown, overgiving, resentment and miscommunication to touch hunger, body disconnection, mismatched desire, emotional avoidance, and the ache of feeling lonely inside a relationship that looks “fine” from the outside.

My work lives at the intersection of intimacy, communication, self-awareness, and the body. It’s practical, experiential, honest, and deeply human. I’m less interested in surface-level advice and more interested in helping people create the kind of shifts they can actually feel in their real life — in their relationships, their nervous system, their sense of self, and their capacity to receive love, support, pleasure, rest, and connection.

Because in my world, intimacy isn’t just about sex.

It’s about truth.
It’s about presence.
It’s about learning how to stay connected to yourself when life gets hard.
It’s about knowing how to communicate your needs without collapsing, exploding, or disappearing.
It’s about being able to soften into closeness without abandoning yourself.
It’s about building relationships that don’t just look good on paper — but actually feel nourishing to live inside.

How I got here

I didn’t land in this work through a neat, linear path.

My background started in youth work, mental health, and community facilitation, but over time I became increasingly drawn to the places where people weren’t just talking about their lives — they were feeling them. In the body. In the nervous system. In the silence after someone says, “I don’t actually know what I need.” In the tension between wanting closeness and not knowing how to receive it.

That curiosity led me deeper into the worlds of conscious connected breathwork, embodiment, touch, intimacy education, and relational work. It also led me into years of facilitating one-to-one sessions, workshops, events and group spaces where people came to explore connection in all its forms — connection to self, to body, to voice, to truth, to desire, to grief, to tenderness, to boundaries, and to other people.

Over the years I’ve held space for hundreds of people in those rooms.

I’ve sat with people in heartbreak.
In shame.
In confusion.
In numbness.
In sexual shutdown.
In overthinking.
In the grief of realising they’ve built a whole life around being capable, self-sufficient and high-functioning, while quietly feeling miles away from themselves.

And again and again, I saw the same thing:

People weren’t broken.
They weren’t failing because they didn’t care enough.
They were often deeply intelligent, loving, capable humans who had simply never been taught how to stay connected to themselves under pressure… how to communicate clearly when they were activated… how to receive… how to set a boundary before resentment built… how to ask for what they wanted without shame… or how to repair after disconnection instead of pretending everything was fine.

That’s the gap my work lives in.

The heart of my work

A lot of the people who find me are high-functioning on the outside and disconnected on the inside.

They’re often the capable one.
The strong one.
The overgiver.
The leader.
The one everyone leans on.
The person who can run a business, hold a team, care for a partner, manage a calendar, keep the wheels turning — and still feel strangely far away from their own body, needs, softness, or truth.

Some are in relationships and want to stop having the same fight on repeat.
Some want to feel desire again.
Some want to learn how to communicate without spiralling or shutting down.
Some are trying to untangle years of overgiving, hyper-independence, or people-pleasing.
Some are successful in almost every area of life except the part where they actually let themselves be met.

That’s the work I love.

I care about helping people build the skills, self-awareness, and nervous system capacity to create relationships that are more connected, more intimate, and more sustainable — whether that’s with a partner, with themselves, or with the wider life they’re building.

My Values

Authenticity

I care far more about what’s real than what’s polished. My work is about helping people come home to the parts of themselves that are true — not the parts that are impressive, productive, or socially acceptable.

Courage

This work takes guts. It asks you to tell the truth, feel what you’d rather avoid, and have the conversations that would be easier to keep postponing.

Compassion

I don’t believe people change through shame. I believe people change when they feel safe enough to be honest, and supported enough to stay with what they find.

Play

I take this work seriously, but I don’t take myself too seriously. Play, humour, creativity and pleasure matter here. They’re not side notes — they’re part of what helps people soften, regulate, and come alive.

Depth

I’m not here for bandaid fixes. I want to get to the root of what’s happening, create real shifts, and help people build relationships that feel different in practice, not just in theory.

Responsibility

Insight matters, but embodiment matters more. I care about helping people turn awareness into action — into cleaner communication, stronger boundaries, better repair, deeper intimacy, and a life that feels more aligned.
